Loss
Loss
We all experience some kind of loss on our journey. It could be a relationship breakup, the death of a friend or relative, or a tragic life situation.
Regardless of the circumstances, the commonality is this: we respond by dwelling in thought.
And when we allow our mind to take over, we suffer.
As I write this, I am struggling. My close friend is suffering in the hospital and if he knew how much I am hurting, he would tell me: “Griff, I’m in good hands…go have a good day.” Our friends don’t want us to suffer…but we do. It’s our loss.
And so, I remind myself. Get out of my head. Breathe. See the beauty of what is in front of me. Stay in the present.
