Mental Positions
Mental Positions
Identifying yourself with your politics, religion, or favorite cause, is simply your own “mental position.”
Trying to convince others you are right and they are wrong simply creates fires! It tears down those bonds you once cherished.
Understand this…it is right from your perspective, but not from theirs. Why? Because, most deep-seated beliefs are developed in the early stages of our lives…primarily from our early influencers.
Trying to convince others to change their opinions to line up with yours is like banging your head on a wall every day. Plus — what you may not realize — it’s offensive to those around you.
You can go down fighting to the bitter end for your convictions but if you watch carefully… it’s just your ego wanting to inflate and you will continue to manifest physical and mental exhaustion.
If your obituary states; “He or she fought for….” it could indicate, you suffered a lot.
All of the excessive drama can create grief and anger to the point of internal physical and mental impairment.
Could this be you?
Reevaluate. Allow others to believe what they want and you will regain friendships.
Remember that life is short and it’s important to enjoy every moment.
Look around and see the beauty everywhere.
Breath in and out slowly. Peace and serenity are right where you are at this moment.
